Quality control operators

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Product audits – Check that parts conform to specification in terms of visual appearance and are the correct size (using basic measuring equipment)
• Process audits – Check we are adhering to our processes, ensuring that we are setting up our jobs to the correct process flow, layout of benches etc, using the correct packaging and other materials (components etc), using the correct barcode & box labels as per the manufacturing instructions
• Training of personnel – Ensuring that personnel working on the processes know their job function and are working to the manufacturing instruction and showing them what to do if they do not
• Training matrix adherence – Ensure the people on the processes have been trained and checking their training matrix or record to confirm this
• Stop/cause mentality – Working with our audit and technical team to stop processes or parts manufacture when there is a problem or when the process or parts do not conform to the correct standard to correct
