Counter Balance Forklift Drivers

Our client is a well established leader within the Manufacturing Industry. They have 3 main sites in Scotland. Staffplus are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers/Warehouse Operatives for our client site in Newhouse.

Rate of pay: 
£7.65
Shift times: 
6am till 6pm Dayshift, 6pm till 6am Nightshift
Job requirements: 
  • Driving a counter balance forklift truck. You are required to have a high degree of attention of detail to the products that are being handled.
  • Excellent attendance, performance & timekeeping is essential to secure a position.
  • Overtime may be available – after the standard 37 hours, the rate automatically goes onto premium rate.
     
  • To work with and support all members of your team.
  • To communicate relevant information to colleagues.
  • To work in a safe manner, never placing yourself or another employee in danger.
  • Do not operate equipment if you are not trained or authorised to do so.
  • To report immediately any equipment that may not be fit for purpose.
